The silicone is much gentler on my pup’s neck than the bare metal was, and the 3/8-inch size slipped right onto the existing prongs without any fuss. Took a star off only because I wish it came in a two-pack, since one already looks a bit worn after a month of daily walks.

The 3/8-inch size fits my dog's collar fine, and the silicone does keep the metal from pressing directly on her skin. But the covers slide around a bit during walks, so I'm not sure how much they're actually helping with sensitivity.
