These little caps do exactly what they claim—my dog finally stops scratching at his collar, and the 3/8 inch size fits the metal prongs snugly without slipping. They're soft and pliable, so putting them on took me maybe two minutes total.
The silicone is softer and more pliable than I expected, so it slipped right onto the collar point without any struggle. My main gripe is the 3/8" size feels a bit snug on slightly thicker points, but it stays put during walks and my dog seems much less bothered by the metal contact now.
