The range on this thing is genuinely a mile — I tested it across a full field and the signal never dropped once. The two-dog setup makes it super easy to switch between my labs mid-hunt, and the remote feels solid in hand even after hours of use.
The response button on the remote is stiff enough that I never worry about accidental presses, which is exactly what I need when my two dogs are a quarter mile apart. The 1-mile range is no joke—I can correct my dogs from across the field without them even noticing the remote in my hand. Having both on the same transmitter is a lifesaver for keeping them separate during training, and the response is immediate.
