2019년 3월 PHMSA IFR은 미국의 리튬이온 배터리 운송 규정을 ICAO 규정과 조화시켰으며, 지상 운송에 대한 추가 요구 사항을 포함하여 규정에 위배되는 리튬이온 배터리가 항공기에 적재되지 않도록 했습니다.
