My dog has the thickest double coat of any husky I've owned, and those aggressive titanium wings finally reach down to the skin without me having to dig through layers of fur. The brass points feel solid and glided through a full grooming session without catching.
I was a little nervous the titanium wings would feel too harsh, but the sharper points actually glide through my husky's undercoat without snagging. The brass tips hold their edge well, and the aggressive design really does reach the skin on his dense double coat.
