Honestly wasn't sure the brass points would make that much difference, but the 1/2-inch length really does spread the pressure out evenly. The longer 1/2 inch points really do spread the pressure out—I barely notice I'm wearing it after a few minutes. It's a huge upgrade from the standard pad for my RX-090, and the whole collar stimulation feels much smoother now.
